Scott Patrick Belveal passed away too young on November 22, 2023 after valiant 9 month battle with pancreatic cancer.
Scott was the son of Charles and Carol Belveal, brother to Charlie and Anne Belveal, beloved husband of Carolyn Belveal and proud father of Catherine, Alexandra, Scott and John Belveal.
Raised in Morgan Hill California, Scott moved east and graduated in 1992 from the United States Military Academy, West Point. As an Army officer, Scott served in Vilseck, Germany as a platoon leader, executive officer and battalion personnel officer (S1). At Fort Benning GA, Scott held the positions of general’s aide and Airborne company commander. Scott’s military service gave him an unparalleled sense of patriotism, duty, honor and a commitment to help others.
Scott graduated with an MBA from Columbia University in 2000 and began a 21-year career with Goldman Sachs as a private wealth advisor and then moved his business to UBS. He cherished the relationships that he developed with his clients and was incredibly proud of the team he built.
Scott will always be remembered for making the world a better place. He served on the board of Habitat for Humanity, Travis Manion Foundation & Cristo Rey Philadelphia School. His favorite volunteer work was coaching youth football and baseball. By focusing on teamwork, discipline and commitment, Scott not only made his players better athletes, but also taught his players life lessons.
Scott loved golfing with friends, sitting on the beach, fireworks on the 4th of July, Army Navy games, watching his children play sports, boat rides at sunset, fly fishing and sharing a beer by the pool. Scott’s commitment to his family will be his legacy. He was the best provider and a dedicated father.
