Sean Michael McCormick, age 45, of West Grove, PA, formerly of Lansdowne, PA, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on October 29, 2014. Born in Darby, PA, he was the son of Martin and Nancy McCormick of Glen Mills.
The center of Sean's life was his wife and children. All that he did in his life he did for his family.
Owner of McCormick Karate Academy in Oxford, PA for the past 20 years, Sean was a mentor, friend and father figure to many of his students, teaching not only the art of Karate, but Life's Lessons.
In addition to his parents, Sean is survived by his wife Sheila T. McCormick (nee Murray), his children Sean, Jr., Alison, Olivia and Gavin, his sisters Linda Tracy, Kathy Wrably, Rosalie DuBoe, Cindy Pagel, Maureen Falwell, and his brothers Marty and Danny.
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Sunday, November 2, 2014 6:00 PM-9:00 PM The Donohue Funeral Home, 1627 West Chester Pike (cor. Hilltop Road), West Chester, PA (610) 431-9000 and Monday, November 3, 2014 10:00-11:00 AM Sacred Heart Church, 203 Church Road, Oxford, PA followed by his Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM. Interment Oxford Cemetery, 220 N. 3rd Street, Oxford, PA.
