Sharon L. Bretherick

Sharon L. Bretherick (née Leiby), 73, of West Chester, PA passed away, peacefully surrounded by her family, on February 22, 2024.

Born in Shamokin, PA in 1950, Sharon was the daughter of the late Robert K. and Dorothy Jean (née Shaffer) Leiby.

Sharon was the loving mother of Jennifer Bretherick and Robyn Crabb (John); devoted grandmother of Demi and Emma Crabb; dear sister of Barbara Webster (William). Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

She was a proud graduate of West Chester University, where she earned her Master’s degree in education. She was a teacher at Rose Tree Elementary for many years.

Sharon loved to travel all over the world and especially to Ocean City, NJ. She was a big Philadelphia Phillies fan and jewelry aficionado. She enjoyed spending time with her “Best Buds who were her teacher friends, but most of all, she loved her time with family, especially her granddaughters.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Viewing 10:00-11:00 AM Thursday, February 29, 2024 at 1627 West Chester Pike, West Chester, PA followed by her Funeral Service 11:00 AM. Interment Edgewood Memorial Park.
