Sharon L. Muschamp

Sharon L. Muschamp, of Newtown Square, PA, a beloved soul whose warmth and creativity touched the lives of many, passed peacefully on April 6, 2025, at the age of 72.

Born in Lewes, DE, she was the daughter of the late William and Elizabeth (née Short) Clendaniel.

Sharon devoted her life to creating a warm and welcoming home for her family, instilling in them values of kindness, resilience, and contentment in life’s simple pleasures.

In her leisure time, Sharon found joy in reading books and had special gift for gardening, cultivating not just plants but a space of beauty and tranquility. Her adventurous spirit drew her to the great outdoors, where camping was not just an activity, but a cherished experience shared with those she loved. Sharon expressed her creativity through crafting, especially in making organic soaps, that embodied her philosophy of blending beauty with nature and served as wonderful gifts filled with her personal touch.

Sharon was the beloved wife of David Muschamp; the loving mother of Rene Gould (Jason) and Tamara “Tammy” Purcell. She was the caring and devoted grandmother of Sam Gould and Amanda Marland. Sharon is also survived by her dear sisters, Bonnie Russell (Jim), Shirley Charles (Ken), and Elaine Willey (Lyndon).

Family and friends are invited to celebrate and honor Sharon's life during a Visitation on Saturday, April 19, 2025, 10:00 to 11:30 AM at The Donohue Funeral Home, 3300 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA 19073, followed by a Funeral Service beginning at 11:30 AM. Interment will be held privately.
