In Loving Memory: Sharyn (Rawley) Councell
With heavy hearts, we bid farewell to our cherished mother, grandmother, sister, cousin, and friend, Sharyn, who passed away unexpectedly on April 23rd. She was an absolute beacon of love, compassion, and strength, leaving behind a legacy that will live forever in the hearts of those who knew her.
Born on June 2nd, 1965, Sharyn lived a life defined by kindness and generosity. extending her love not only to her family but also to the animal companions who held a special place in her heart. Her unwavering love and devotion to her family were evident in every aspect of her being. As a mother, she nurtured and guided with boundless affection, imparting invaluable wisdom and instilling values of integrity and positivity.
As a grandmother, Sharyn showered her grandchildren with endless affection, creating cherished memories and imparting lessons that will endure through generations. Her warmth and laughter filled their lives with joy and happiness, leaving an indelible mark on their hearts.
Sharyn was not only a beloved family member but also a cherished friend to many. Her compassionate spirit and gentle nature touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. She had an innate ability to bring comfort and solace to those in need, offering a listening ear and a supportive shoulder without hesitation.
Sharyn's passion for animals knew no bounds. She opened her heart and home to countless furry friends, providing them with love, care, and a forever family. Her compassion extended beyond her own pets as she advocated for animal welfare and supported various organizations dedicated to their protection and well-being.
Sharyn will be deeply missed by her family and friends, but her spirit will continue to live on in the countless lives she touched.
Sharyn is survived by her daughter Jessica, Jessica’s father Michael, Jessica’s husband Matthew, grandchildren Aubrey and Carter, along with her brother Douglas, his wife Kristin, and many, many, cousins, nieces, nephews, step relations – all due to a wonderful family bush she wouldn’t have traded for anything.
Previously departed loved ones include her mother Catherine, father Douglas, Uncle William, Aunt Jean, and her beloved dogs Bubba and Lily.
In honoring Sharyn's memory, we need to carry forward her legacy of love, compassion, and positivity. We need to find solace in the cherished memories we shared with her and take comfort in knowing that she now rests in peace, surrounded by the love of those who went before her.
A celebration of Sharyn's life will be held on May 7th at The Donohue Funeral Home in Newtown Square, Pennsylvania. In memory of Sharyn, the family kindly requests donations to Arthur’s Acres Animal Sanctuary, in honor of Sharyn's lifelong commitment of love, kindness, positivity, and compassion for all living beings.
