Shirley Albed

Shirley Albed (nee Caldwell), age 84, of Wayne, PA, and Cape May, NJ, passed away on October 22, 2022.

Born in Williamsport, PA in 1938, she was the daughter of the late William and Alda (nee Metzger) Caldwell. Shirley was a loving nurse for many years at Bryn Mawr Hospital and a community volunteer. She enjoyed gardening, playing tennis, and cooking wonderful meals for her family.

Shirley was the beloved wife of the late Raymond J. Albed, Sr.; loving mother of Raymond J. Albed, Jr. (Nancy), Renee Albed, and Michelle Albed; caring grandmother of Thomas; dear sister of Robert Caldwell and sister-in-law of Amer Caldwell and Laurice Albed; adoring aunt of Becky and Andrew Caldwell.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Life Celebration 11 AM Thursday, December 8, 2022 at Wayne Presbyterian Church, 125 E. Lancaster Avenue, Wayne, PA 19087. Interment private.
