Shirley Nichols

Shirley Davis Nichols 1934-2016 Shirley Davis Nichols, age 81, of Darby, PA and formerly of Essington, PA, passed away on June 17, 2016, after a long illness. Preceded in death by her loving husband, James A. Nichols and her brother John LaVelle of Chester, PA, she was the loving mother of Deborah Pride (James Jr.) of Point of Rocks, MD and is survived by her dear sister Margaret Nathans of Glen Mills, PA, brothers Patrick LaVelle of Chester, PA and Paul LaVelle of Prospect Park, PA. She is also survived by her step‐grandchild Abigail Rose. Mrs. Nichols was a long‐time shut in known for her generosity. She supported many organizations, in particular the Trinity Broadcast Network (TBN). Relatives and friends are invited to visit with the family on Wednesday, June 29, 2016 from 10:30 to 11:00 AM, and share in Shirley's Memorial Service at 11:00 in the Knoetgen‐Donohue Funeral Home, 746 Kedron Ave. (Route 420), Morton, PA 19070. Interment is at Edgewood Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers a donation in Shirley's name may be made to Trinity Broadcast Network , P.O.
