Sr. Ita Guthrie, S.H.C.J. passed away on March 5, 2015. Sister was 100 years old. She was the daughter of the late Patrick and Nora Guthrie (nee Brew). She is survived by her nieces and nephews in Ireland, several who came to the United States to celebrate her 100th birthday with Irish music and dance in August, 2014.
Religious, relatives and friends are invited to her viewing Friday, March 13, 2015 10:00-11:00 AM New Sharon Chapel, 1341 Montgomery Avenue, Rosemont, PA, followed by her Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM. Interment Calvary Cemetery. A Prayer Service will be held on Thursday, March 12, 2015 at 4:00 PM in Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Sister's memory to the Holy Child Center, 1341 Montgomery Avenue, Rosemont, PA 19010 would be appreciated.
