Sr. Mary Anne Haren, S.H.C.J., formerly Mother John Fisher, passed away on February 18, 2019.
Sister was 83 years of age. Born in New York, NY, she was the beloved daughter of the late Hugh and Anne Haren (nee Maher).
Sister is survived by her cousin, Maureen McKenna.
Sister received her Bachelor's Degree and Master's Degree, both in Education.
Her ministry as a teacher included the School of the Holy Child, Rosemont, PA, St. Edward School, Philadelphia, PA; St. Eugene School, Primos, PA, Our Lady of Lourdes School, New York City, NY, SS Peter and Paul School, Fleetwood, NY, Annunciation School, Washington, DC and St. Anthony School, Washington, DC.
Religious, relatives and friends are invited to her viewing Saturday, February 23, 2019 10:00-11:00 AM at New Sharon Chapel, 1341 Montgomery Avenue, Rosemont, PA and to her Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM.
Interment Calvary Cemetery.
A Wake Service will be held on Friday, February 22, 2019 at 4:00 PM at New Sharon Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Society of the Holy Child Jesus at the above address would be appreciated.
