Sr. Ruth McCarthy, S.H.C.J., formerly Mother Mary Louis, passed away on September 16, 2016. Sister was 92 years of age. Beloved daughter of the late Florance James and Regina McCarthy (nee Pilger). Sister of the late Robert and Eleanor McCarthy. Survived by her sister-in-law Blanche McCarthy, and her nephews and niece Robert McCarthy (Marly MacFarlane), Kathleen McCarthy (Richard Maylander) and James McCarthy.

Religious, relatives and friends are invited to her Funeral Mass Friday, September 23, 2016 11:00 AM New Sharon Chapel, 1341 Montgomery Avenue, Rosemont, PA where friends may call in Chapel after 10:00 AM. Interment Calvary Cemetery, West Conshohocken, PA.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the Society of the Holy Child of Jesus, 1341 Montgomery Avenue, Rosemont, PA 19010.
