Stanley Ross, Sr.

Stanley W. Ross, Sr., age 90, of Newtown Square, PA, formerly of Upper Darby, PA passed away on August 15, 2015.
Stanley was the beloved husband of Dorothy A. (nee Crane). He was the devoted father of Stanley (Phyllis) Ross, Jr., Starr (Bill) Rigby, Jack (Mona) Ross, Peggie (Dave) Talbot, Al (Arlana) Ross, Jim (Mary) Ross and Betsy (Tomas) Aguilar. Dear brother of Ron (Fran) Ross, Betsy (the late Larry) Brown, the late Jack and Donald Ross; he is also survived by his 19 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Stan was a student of the Upper Darby High School and a proud WWII veteran serving in the European, North African and India theatres with the US Coast Guard from 1942 to 1945.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Viewing Tuesday, August 18, 2015 from 9-10:30 AM at THE DONOHUE FUNERAL HOME, 3300 WEST CHESTER PIKE, Newtown Square, PA 610-353-6300 followed by his Funeral Mass at 11 AM at St. Anastasia Church, 3301 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA.
Interment SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.
