Stephanie Dunion

Stephanie Dunion, of Newtown Square, PA, a beloved figure in the world of canine care and training, passed away on February 18, 2025, at the age of 76.

Born in Chester, PA, she was the daughter of the late Nicholas and Rosemarie (née Esser) Manko.

Stephanie dedicated her life to her passion for animals, particularly her work as the President of K9 Kuriers, Inc., a reputable dog training and pet sitting company. Throughout her esteemed career, Stephanie not only excelled in her business but also played a pivotal role in fostering connections between the USA and Germany, coordinating judges for German Shepherd Competitions worldwide for dog clubs. Her contributions to the field of canine training earned her the distinction of being named a 2012 VIP Member of Worldwide Who's Who for Excellence in Canine Training, a proud accomplishment that showcased her dedication and expertise. Prior to Stephanie’s career as a dog trainer, Stephanie worked for the Lufthansa German Airlines.

Stephanie will be remembered for her unwavering commitment to the well-being of pets and her ability to connect with both animals and their owners. She possessed a remarkable talent for understanding the unique needs of each dog she trained, bringing joy and guidance to countless families in her community.

Stephanie was the beloved wife of Thomas Dunion; the loving sister of Rosemary Waters, Monika Rehoric, Christine Manko-Morgan, Gregory Manko, and Eva Manko. She is also predeceased by her brother, Nick Manko.

Family and friends are invited to gather together to celebrate Stephanie’s life. A Viewing will be held on Tuesday evening, February 25, 2025, 6:00 to 8:00 PM at The Donohue Funeral Home, 3300 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA 19073, followed by a second Viewing, Wednesday morning, February 26, 2025, 9:30 to 10:25 AM at St. Anastasia Church, 3301 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA. A Funeral Mass will follow at 10:30 AM. Interment will be held privately.
