Stephen B. Di Donato, 51, of Phoenixville PA, beloved father, son, brother and friend, passed away peacefully on April 26, 2025.
Stephen had a warm smile, a quick wit, a love of food, Phish and the outdoors. He brought fun into the world and was filled with a generosity of spirit.
Born June 8th, 1973, to Harry and Eleanor DiDonato, Stephen was a Philadelphian through and through, proud of his city and sports teams foremost the Philadelphia Eagles — a team he followed faithfully through every high and low. Sundays were sacred, filled with hope, heartbreak, and endless belief in the green and white.
Stephen’s journey was marked by resilience, heart and an unbreakable loyalty to the people and passions he loved most. He particularly delighted in outdoor adventures with his son and his volunteer time with community meal preparation programs.
Stephen is survived by his son Patrick, mother Eleanor, sisters Karen (Christopher), Christine and Elizabeth (Donald), brothers Harry (Cristy) and Brian (Pamela), his loyal partner Brooke and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Harry P. DiDonato.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation 10:30-11:00 AM Wednesday, May 7, 2025, followed by his Funeral Mass 11:00 AM at St. Patrick’s Church, 104 Channing Avenue, Malvern, PA 19355.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Stephen’s honor to Ann’s Heart, a non-profit working to address food insecurity and gaps in housing services, at 35 Hall Street, Suite 301, Phoenixville, PA 19460 or online at https://www.annsheart.org/donate
