Susanne A. Allen (nee Carfield), age 86, of Brookhaven, PA, passed away peacefully at home on February 26, 2017. Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Mary Carfield (nee Testa).
Susanne was employed in the Billing Department at Lankenau Hospital. She loved her family, dining out and going to the casinos.
Susanne was predeceased by her beloved husband, Robert R. Allen. She is survived by her loving children, Susanne (Mike) Roseboro, Shirley (Joseph) Letts and Cynthia (Carl) Meischke, her 6 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, her sister Carmella (Clifford) Spangenberg and her sister-in-law Joan MacBride.
Relatives are invited to her viewing Thursday, March 2, 2017 6:00-8:00 PM and Friday, March 3, 2017 9:00-10:30 AM The Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 West Chester Pike (cor. Lynn Blvd.), Upper Darby, PA (610) 449-0300 and to her Funeral Service at 10:30 AM. Interment to follow in Friends Southwestern Burial Ground in Upper Darby, PA.
