Mrs. Suzanne Marie Miller (née Upton) of Devon, Pa. died peacefully at Bryn Mawr Hospital on March 7, 2015 at the age of 60.



Suzanne is survived by her beloved husband, Randy C. Miller; cherished son, Andrew Miller and was the loving step-mother to Tricia Miller; dear sister of Karen (Ned) Hill of Lakewood, OH and Kenneth (Lisa) Upton Jr. Phoenixville, PA; aunt of Emma (James) Adlam of Indianapolis, IN and Kenneth III and Morgan Upton of Phoenixville, PA, and her precious English Black Labrador Miss Sophie Marie.



Born in New Haven, CT in 1954, Suzanne was the daughter of the late Kenneth Upton Sr. and the late Dr. Virginia Upton (née Guidone) and step-daughter of Dr. Alan Corbin.



After growing up in Connecticut, Suzanne graduated from Trinity College in Washington, DC (now Trinity Washington University) in 1976 with a major in English, a Minor in History, and a semester abroad at Oxford University. She worked for Jacobs Engineering as a Cost Engineer. After 25 years, Suzanne retired to enjoy life with her loving husband in Devon, PA.



Suzanne was an avid reader, cook and pianist. She loved classical music, flower gardens and the Philadelphia Orchestra. Those close to her remember her as a quick-witted, generous and intelligent individual who loved her family and friends and her dog Sophie. She was a dedicated member of the Philadelphia Junior League and volunteered at the Devon Horse Show.



A Memorial celebration of Suzanne's life will be scheduled by the family at a later date.
