Suzanne P. McLaughlin

Suzanne McLaughlin (née O’Neill) of Glen Mills, PA born January 11, 1951 to the late Elizabeth and William (Betty and Bill) O’Neill peacefully passed in her sleep on Saturday, November 4, 2023.

Beloved wife of Jim for 51 years; loving mother to Katie (Matt) Tihanovich and Sean McLaughlin. Suzanne was blessed to be the Nana of and beloved by Caitlin and Christian Tihanovich; and to have her loving sisters, Joanne Ferrara (Bob), Kathleen Morales (Adolph) and Maureen Sabato (Ernie); and her extended family. Suzanne was predeceased by her brother, Michael O’Neill.

Suzanne was raised in Northeast Philadelphia and graduated in 1968 from St. Huberts High School. She worked at Fidelity Bank where she met Jim. After she married, she began a series of moves around the country, living in Maryland, Pittsburgh PA, San Antonio TX, San Diego CA and Bonita Springs FL before returning to the Philadelphia area.

Suzanne loved to decorate her homes, shop, golf, ski and entertain. But her greatest love was to be with her friends and extended family, especially her grandchildren Caitlin and Christian.

A Visitation will be held 9:00-10:30 AM Friday, November 10, 2023 at The Donohue Funeral Home, 1627 West Chester Pike West Chester, PA, followed by her Funeral Mass 11:00 AM at Saints Simon and Jude Church, 8 Cavanaugh Court, West Chester, PA 19382. Interment St. Thomas the Apostle Cemetery 430 Valleybrook Road Glen Mills, PA 19342.
