Teresa Marie “Terri” Colgan, age 65, of Upper Darby, PA, passed away on April 10, 2025. Born in Darby, PA, she was the beloved daughter of the late David and Eleanor Colgan (nee Kerr).
Terri treasured spending time with family and friends creating memories, and enjoying life! She loved the shore, a good walk and/or a conversation with a loved one, and meeting new people! She traveled extensively throughout the world and the United States (she planned on visiting all 50 states; at the time of her death, she had already been to 48 of them). Terri was passionate about the Phillies, Eagles, and local collegiate sports, especially her beloved alma mater, St. Joseph’s University. She read extensively, and was well-versed in history and current events. Most of all, she delighted in being of service to others
Terri was the loving sister of Trish McRae (Bill), Mike Colgan (Patty), Monica Conner (Rick), Sr. Denise Colgan, RSM, Joan Kane (Jim), Anne Wellman (Jimmy), Tom Colgan (Barb), and Dan Colgan. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Predeceased by her sibling, Will Colgan, and his wife, Diane and by her nephew, Joe Conner.
Family and friends are invited to Terri’s Visitation 6:00-8:00 PM on Tuesday, April 15, 2025 at The Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA 19082, and 9:30-10:30 AM on Wednesday, April 16, 2025 at St. Bernadette of Lourdes Church, 1035 Turner Ave, Drexel Hill, PA 19026, followed by her Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM. Interment SS Peter & Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA 19064.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Sisters of Mercy, 515 Montgomery Ave, Merion Station, PA 19066, sistersofmercy.org, would be appreciated.
