Teresa Legerton

October 8, 1929 — January 19, 2017

Teresa C. Legerton (nee McGarvey), age 87, of King of Prussia, PA, passed into the hands of the Lord on January 19, 2017. Born in Bryn Mawr, PA, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Mary McGarvey (nee Hilferty). She was a graduate of West Catholic Girls High School in Philadelphia.

Teresa was predeceased by her husband, Harold D. Legerton, her brothers James, Charles and John McGarvey and her sister, Mary Heneghan. She is survived by her children David Legerton (Donna Dayton), Kathleen Volpe (William), Karen Melley (Edward), Stephen Legerton (Helene) and Harold "Daniel" Legerton (Jill), 16 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and her sister Sally Wagner (Jim).

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing Wednesday, January 25, 2017 9:30-11:00 AM Mother of Divine Providence Church, 333 Allendale Road, King of Prussia followed by her Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM. Interment Valley Forge Memorial Gardens, King of Prussia.
