Thankappan Nair

Thankappan Nair, 83, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved son to the late Krishnan Nair and Thankamma Nair.

Thankappan is survived by his dear wife Sarojini (nee Pillai) Nair; Sons, Ajay Nair (Paayal) and Arun Nair; Brothers and Sister, Gopinathan, Chandrasekharan, and Leelamma; and 5 grandchildren, Jayen, Vijay, Sunita, Krishna, and Rani. Thankappan was predeceased by his son Anil Nair (Anita) and his first wife, Radha Nair.

Thankappan had a successful career in supply chain management at the University of Pennsylvania, REPAP Technologies, and the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. He was a leader in the Indian American community for many years.

Relatives and friends are invited to Thankappan’s viewing on Saturday, August 17th from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at The Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA followed by his funeral service and eulogies from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM.
