Theodore George "Pop-Pop" Galvelis of Upper Darby, PA, born on April 1, 1917, passed away on June 15, 2015 after living 98 wonderful years.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Mary (nee Buriak) to whom he was married for 61 years.
Theodore served in the US Cavalry, US Navy during World War II and the Navy Reserves. He proudly talked about learning to box in the Cavalry and then boxing for the Navy. He was also proud to have played for the Philadelphia Steagles semi-pro football.
He loved spending time with his family and serenading everyone with his songs of love.
He is survived by his 3 children Ted (Carol), Ron (Helga), Marianne (Bob), 8 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and many, many relatives.
