Theodore J. "Ted" Vanderslice, Jr., age 68, of Kennett Square, PA, formerly of Newtown Square, passed away peacefully on February 11, 2019.
Born in Darby, PA, he was the son of the late Theodore (Sr.) and Marguerite T. (Simpson) Vanderslice.
Ted was an advertising manager for the Philadelphia Inquirer.
He loved watching all Philadelphia sports teams and coached youth sports in Newtown Square, PA.
He enjoyed golfing at Edgemont Country Club, being at the shore - especially Ocean City and Sea Isle City, NJ.
Ted's favorite place was being together with his dear wife, Terry.
He also loved his friends and being the center of attention.
Ted was the beloved husband of Theresa "Terry" (nee Tapper) Vanderslice; the loving father of Theodore J. "Teddy" Vanderslice, III and Thomas "Tom" Tapper and his amazing daughter-in-law, Carla; the adoring and loving pop-pop of Tommy and Julia Tapper.
He is also survived by his siblings, Peggy Ryan (Tom), Lynne Fanelli, Tim Vanderslice (Audrey) and Cass Weber (Joe), as well as his dear nieces and nephews and his faithful sidekick, "Shady."
