Theodore George "Ted" Wolfarth, age 95, of Downingtown, PA, passed away on November 30, 2018.
Born in Aspinwall, PA to the late Henry and Elizabeth (nee Walling) Wolfarth, Ted proudly served his country in the Navy during World War II as a pilot and a Navigation Instructor. He worked in Management in the Telecommunications industry.
Ted was a devoted husband and father. He was a lifelong golfing enthusiast and an avid Steelers fan. He enjoyed swimming, gardening and home remodeling and was a member of St. Elizabeth Parish in Upper Uwchlan Township.
Ted is survived by his beloved wife Ruth (nee Aul), his dear children David (Diane), Ronald (Tracy), Maryanne Smith (Frank) and George (Janet), his adored grandchildren RJ, Nicole, Ian, Tristan, Enzo and Allison and eight great-grandchildren. He was pre-deceased by his cherished son Tom (and his beloved Mary Agnes). Ted is also pre-deceased by his siblings Harry Wolfarth, Claire Wolfarth and Thelma Douthett.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation Wednesday, December 5th from 8:45 AM to 9:45 AM at St. Elizabeth Church, 100 Fellowship Road, Chester Springs, PA 19425 followed by his Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM. Interment is private.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Ted's memory to St. Jude's Children's research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis. TN 38105.
