Theresa Barksdale

Theresa M. Barksdale (nee Maloney), age 90, of Lansdowne, PA, passed away on January 17, 2016. Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Honora Maloney (nee Grady).



Theresa was a graduate of Lansdowne-Aldan High School. She loved hitting the casinos from Chester to Atlantic City with her husband, Charlie. When not at the casinos, she loved joining her family for the next holiday, birthday, baptism, and wedding. She loved cooking family meals at her home with Yorkshire Pudding being one of the favorites.



Theresa was predeceased by her siblings Mary, James, Anna, Margaret, Martin and Peter Maloney. She is survived by her beloved husband, Charles D. Barksdale, her loving daughters Nora (Richard) Russel and Bernadette (Gene) Thorpe, her grandchildren Siobhan, Riocard "Rick", Deirdre, Maille, Krista and Megan, her great-grandchildren Daniel, Annie, Sean, Nathan, Maeve, Declan, Donovan "Dunny", Elle, Quinn, Hannah, Michaela, Shane, Colin, Bree and the late Kailyn McCormick. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.



Relatives and friends are invited to visitation Thursday, January 22, 2016 9:30-10:30 AM St. Philomena Church, 41 E. Baltimore Avenue, Lansdowne, PA and to her Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM. Interment will be private.
