Theresa Coughlan

August 18, 1946 — January 4, 2016

Theresa B. "Terry" Coughlan (nee Lafferty), age 69, of Drexel Hill, PA, passed away on January 4, 2016. Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Dennis and Anna Lafferty (nee Neeson).



She attended elementary school at Our Mother of Sorrows in West Philadelphia and St. Charles Borromeo in Drexel Hill. She was a 1964 graduate of Archbishop Prendergast High School in Drexel Hill.



Terry worked for GlaxoSmithKline (formerly SmithKline & French Laboratories) for 19 years. After retiring from GSK, she worked part time at St. Thomas Monastery on the campus of Villanova University.



Terry was predeceased by her siblings Francis Lafferty, Maryann Lafferty and Dennis Lafferty, Jr. She is survived by her children Ann Holmes (Leo), Jerry Coughlan (Diane) and Dennis Coughlan (Anne), her grandchildren Caitlyn and Michael Karetsky, Noelle and Christopher Coughlan and Brigid Coughlan and her siblings Catherine Daly and James Lafferty.



Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing Thursday, January 7, 2016 7:00-9:00 PM and Friday, January 8, 2016 8:30-9:15 AM The Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 West Chester Pike (cor. Lynn Blvd.), Upper Darby, PA (610) 449-0300 and to her Funeral Mass 10:00 AM St. Charles Borromeo Church, 3422 Dennison Avenue, Drexel Hill, PA. Interment SS Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.
