Theresa M. Halt (nee Nugent)

Theresa M. Halt (nee Nugent), age 93, of West Chester, PA, passed away on January 21, 2023. Born in Upper Darby, PA, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Catherine Nugent (nee McKenna).

Theresa worked as a Bookkeeper in the Publishing Industry. She was an avid reader and was a political junkie. Theresa loved following her family on Facebook and liking all their posts and pictures.

Theresa was the beloved wife of Gerald B. Halt, Sr.; loving mother of Teresa M. O’Malley (Tom), Patricia A. O’Brien (John), Deborah M. Trimble (Bob), and Gerald B. “Jay” Halt, Jr. (Rosemarie); adoring grandmother of Teresa, Jacqueline, Matthew, Alexandria, Tara, Anna, Andrew, Grace, Megan, and Laura; and caring great-grandmother of Patrick, Ryan, Joseph, Emmy, and Wyatt. She was predeceased by her sisters, Isabell Byrne and Catherine O’Brien.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation, Thursday, January 26, 2023, 10:00-11:00 AM at St. Mary Magdalen Church, 2400 N. Providence Rd., Media, PA 19063, followed by her Funeral Mass 11:00 AM. Int. SS Peter & Paul Cemetery.
