Thomas Cleary

Thomas P. "Bo" Cleary, age 71, of Clifton Heights, PA, passed away peacefully on September 8, 2018.
Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late James and Alice Cleary (nee Furey).
Tom was raised in Highland Park, Upper Darby, PA.
He was a 1964 graduate of Monsignor Bonner High School and a 1968 graduate of St. Joseph University.
He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War era and was stationed in Korea.
He received his Master's Degree in Criminal Justice from West Chester University.
Tom had been employed as a Police Officer with Conrail from where he retired.
He also worked at Haverford College in Security.
Tom was a friend of Bill W. for over 42 years.
He was an avid sports fan of the Phillies, Eagles, Flyers and NCAA Basketball.
He loved playing golf and scored a hole-in-one at Hickory Valley Golf Club on June 18, 1999
In addition to his parents, Tom was predeceased by his twin brother, James.
He is survived by his brother David (Kathy), his sister-in-law Mary and six nieces and nephews, whom he loved very much.
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Friday, September 14, 2018 9:00-10:30 AM at The Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 West Chester Pike (cor. Lynn Blvd.), Upper Darby, PA and to his Funeral Mass 11:00 AM St. Laurence Church, 8245 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA.
Interment SS Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.
