Thomas Daley

Thomas A. Daley, age 92, of Maris Grove, formerly of Drexel Hill, PA, passed away on February 18, 2014. Born in Ashland, PA, he was the son of the late Patrick and Mary Daley (nee Murphy). He served in the U.S. Army in the 101st 10th Mountain Division during World War II. He was employed as an accountant with Campbell Soup Company.
He was the beloved husband of the late Anne M. Daley and the late Anne Opila Daley. Loving father of Thomas J. (Barbara J.), Chas (Mary Ellen), Maureen (Edward) Schreiber, John (Roseanne), Patricia (Jay) Wenger and Barbara Daley. Dear stepfather of Margaret A. (Leon) LaRosa, Paul J. (Mary Anne) Opila, Mark W. (Frances) Opila, John F. (Janice) Opila, and the late Thomas F. (Barbara) Opila and the late Patricia M. (Frank) Penater. He is also survived by his 32 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Saturday, February 22, 2014 10:00-11:20 AM St. Anastasia Church, 3301 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA followed by his Funeral Mass at 11:30 AM. Interment SS Peter & Paul Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory to St. Joseph Preparatory School, 1733 W. Girard Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19130 would be appreciated.
