Thomas J. "Tom" Haines, Sr., Esq., age 69, of Havertown, PA, passed away on February 19, 2019.
Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Thomas M. and Rose (nee Jackson) Haines.
Tom graduated from La Salle University and went on to receive his Law Degree from Widener University.
He was employed as a Chief Counsel for Sunoco, Inc. in Philadelphia, PA.
Tom was a big La Salle basketball fan as well as an avid golfer.
He was Secretary of the Ushers Association at St. Pius X Church.
Tom was the beloved husband of Patrice A. (nee McDermott) Haines; the loving father of Thomas J. Haines, Jr. (Aldona); the devoted grandfather of Thomas III, Henry and Patryk.
He is also survived by his dear sister-in-law, Sr. Maureen McDermott, IHM and his brother-in-law, Lawrence McDermott (Peggy).
