Thomas C. Joyce

Thomas C. Joyce, 83, of West Chester, PA, passed away on April 10, 2025.

Born February 22, 1942, in Rochester, PA, he was the son of the late Lawrence C. and Ruth E. (nee Foutz) Joyce.

Tom graduated from The Pennsylvania State University in 1965 with a degree in metallurgy and was a member of the Alpha Chi Sigma fraternity. He remained an avid Nittany Lion fan. He was very devoted to his country and served as a Republican Party committeeman and Judge of Elections for several years.

He enjoyed spending his time gardening, collecting stamps, working on his model railroad, and listening to music.

He was a devout Catholic and loved Saints Simon and Jude parish. He was a member of the Legion of Mary. Tom participated in the Wednesday morning Companions of Mary Rosary Group, and with that group, he visited the VA Hospital where he taught some of the veterans to make rosaries.

Tom was the beloved husband of Karen (nee Schweinberg); loving father of Erin Joyce (the late Marc Carter) and Marnie Joyce (Patrick Reed); adoring grandfather of Maya Joyce Battistella and Milo Joyce Battistella; and dear brother of Daniel L. Joyce (Lulu).

Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Monday, April 14, 2025, at Saints Simon and Jude Church, 8 Cavanaugh Court, West Chester, PA 19382, followed by his Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM. Interment is private.
