Thomas Lord
November 19, 1925 — June 8, 2016
Thomas Leo Lord, age 90, a 47 year resident of Drexel Hill, PA, passed away on June 8, 2016. Born in Ireland, he was the son of the late Samuel and Margaret Lord.
He served in the United States Army during the Korean War era. He was employed as a butcher with A&P Markets in Philadelphia for 40 years. He retired in 1988.
Thomas is survived by his beloved wife, Mary Theresa Lord (nee Gavin), his loving children Jerry Lord (Rhonda), Mary Carnesi (Mike), Eileen Pierson (John), Thomas Leo Lord (Theresa), Jack Lord (Felicia), the late Jacquelyn Fulton (Larry), Patrick Lord (Dawn) and Kevin Lord (Jennifer). Also survived by 22 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Monday, June 13, 2016 9:30-11:20 AM St. Charles Borromeo Church, 3422 Dennison Avenue, Drexel Hill, PA and to his Funeral Mass at 11:30 AM. Interment SS Peter and Paul Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of his daughter, Jacquelyn, who recently passed away from ALS, to the Greater Philadelphia Chapter of ALS, 321 Norristown Road, Ambler, PA 19002 would be appreciated. www.alsphiladelphia.org
