Thomas McCarney, Jr.

Thomas Patrick "Pat" McCarney, Jr., age 92, of Media, PA, formerly of Philadelphia, PA, passed away on Saturday, September 17, 2016.
Born in Philadelphia, PA he was the son of the late Thomas Patrick McCarney, Sr. and Anna McCarney (nee Egan). Pat proudly served in the Navy during World War II. After his Naval service. he worked for the Pennsylvania Railroad and Conrail as a mechanic and investigator.
Pat was predeceased by his beloved wife, Rita Dolores McCarney (nee Whalen). He is survived by his beloved daughter Jane Ann Gould (Harold) and his son Thomas Patrick McCarney, III. Pat is also survived by his six grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Thursday, September 22, 2016, 9:30 AM-10:25 AM at St. Laurence Church, 8245 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA and to his Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, Yeadon, PA.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Pat's memory to St. Laurence School, 8245 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA 19082 would be appreciated.
