THOMAS J., 85, of Aldan, PA, formerly of Overbrook passed away at home, surrounded by his family on August 21, 2015.
Born in 1930 in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late John and Anna (Darby) McCarrick.
He was a graduate of North Catholic High School and served honorably in the US Navy. Thomas was a crane operator for both McCarrick Brothers and the Philadelphia Navy Yard.
Thomas was the beloved husband of the late Grace V. (Lannon) McCarrick; loving father of Ann M. Regan (Michael), Thomas J. (Linda), James J. (Mary), Grace V. Cassidy (Christopher), Stephen J. (Donna), Geraldine Riehl (Frank), John T. (Elizabeth) and the late Edward; loving grandfather of 18 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren; dear brother of William McCarrick. Predeceased by siblings, Jack McCarrick, Nancy Konowal, Mary Whalen and Catherine Ryan.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday eve, August 25, 2015 and 8:30-9:30 a.m. Wednesday at The Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA, 610-449-0300 and to his Funeral Mass 10:30 a.m. at St. Eugene Church, 200 S. Oak Ave, Primos, PA 19018. Interment SS Peter & Paul Cemetery.
