Thomas E. Moyer passed away on February 21, 2025 at home, surrounded by his loving family. Thomas was the beloved son to the late Clinton and Jennie (nee Smedley) Moyer.
Thomas is survived by his wife, Barbara (nee Quinn) Moyer; Children, Daniel Moyer (Cheryl), Gerald Moyer (Susan), Paul Moyer (Crystal), Christine Moyer-Chism, and Kenneth Moyer; 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren plus 2 on the way; Siblings, Richard Moyer (Mary Jane) and Jeanette Myers; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son, Thomas Moyer Jr. and his brothers, Clinton Moyer Jr., Eugene Moyer, and Robert Moyer.
Thomas enjoyed camping, traveling, and spending time with his family. He enjoyed vacations at the Jersey Shore and Ocean City, Maryland. Along with his love for family cookouts and get-togethers. Thomas Moyer was a member of the St. Mark Lutheran Church. After he graduated from Lansdowne Aldan High School, he began working in the family business, Philadelphia Suburban Laundry and Dry Cleaning in East Lansdowne, PA. Thomas was the manager of the linen department for 40 years at Misericordia Hospital before his retirement.
Tom was the true definition of a family man. Nothing made him happier than spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to Tomas’s viewing on Friday, February 28, 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at The Knoetgen-Donohue Funeral Home, 746 Kedron Ave, Morton, PA followed by his funeral service at 11:00 AM Interment private.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Thomas’s name to the SPCA -aspca.org/donate or to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital – stjude.org – would be greatly appreciated.
