Thomas M. O'Dea, age 92, of Upper Darby, PA, passed away on August 7, 2014. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Michael and Margaret O'Dea (nee Mooney).
He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a recipient of the American Service Medal, the European African Middle Eastern Service Medal, the Good Conduct Medal and the World War II Victory Medal.
He was predeceased by his wife the late Ellen C. O'Dea (nee Bovio). Survived by his children Thomas M. O'Dea, Jr. (Rosemary) and Eileen O'Dea-Latini (Anthony), his grandchildren Erin, Meghan, Patrick, Elena and Deanna, and his brothers Joseph, Frank and James O'Dea. He was predeceased by his sisters Mary Costello, Catherine O'Dea and his brother John O'Dea.
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Tuesday, August 12, 2014 9:30-10:50 AM St. Cyril of Alexandria Church, 153 Penn Blvd., East Lansdowne followed by his Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM. Interment SS Peter and Paul Cemetery.
