Thomas Palmer

Thomas A. Palmer, age 88, of Newtown Square, PA, formerly of Villanova, PA, passed away on January 30, 2018.
Thomas was the beloved husband of Joann D. (nee Dirckx). He was the loving father of Jean Palmer Gulyas (Theodore), Thomas David Palmer (Elizabeth), William Dirckx Palmer (Ruth) and Robert Joseph Palmer (Sheila). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Loving brother of John Palmer (Caryl) Palmer. Also survived by his brother in-law David Dirckx (Mary). He was predeceased by his brother, Robert Palmer.
Tom found great pleasure spending time with his children and grandchildren playing and watching sports. He loved to golf, read, enjoyed the challenge of a good crossword puzzle and spending time in Avalon, NJ.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Memorial Service Saturday, February 3, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Wayne Presbyterian Church, 125 E. Lancaster Avenue, Wayne, PA. Interment private.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory to Radnor Memorial Library, 114 W. Wayne Avenue, Wayne, PA 19087 or to the Radnor High School Scholarship Fund, P.O. Box 8244, Radnor, PA 19087 would be appreciated.
