Thomas R. Rodgers, Sr., 75, of West Chester, PA passed away on June 5, 2017.
Born in Coatesville, PA in 1941, he was the son of the late Matthew and Janet (nee Spickler) Rodgers. Thomas enjoyed auctions, car shows, and fishing. He was a fan of country music, especially Hank Williams.
Thomas was the beloved husband of the late Patricia Ann (nee Smith) Rodgers; loving father of Susan Rodgers, Thomas R. Rodgers, Jr. (Amy), Dorothy Rusden (Michael Slaymaker), and Samuel M. Rodgers; dear brother of Mildred Travis, Raymond Rodgers, and James Rodgers; also survived by 12 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation 10:00-11:00 AM Friday, June 9, 2017 at The Donohue Funeral Home, 43 W Lancaster Ave, Downingtown, PA 19335, 610-269-3080 followed by his Memorial Service at 11:00 AM. Interment Greenmount Cemetery, West Chester, PA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army, 101 East Market St, West Chester, PA 19382.
