Thomas M. Sexton, age 85, of West Deptford, NJ, formerly of Brookhaven, PA, sadly passed away on November 29, 2024.
Born in West Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Frank and Helen (nee O’Neill) Sexton.
Known for his loyalty, dependability and utmost integrity, for three years, Tom served our country honorably in the U.S. Marine Corps.

In any conversation you had with Tom, I am certain his family was brought into it. He gleamed with pride and joy in talking about his family and their accomplishments. He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter and cherished memories.
If you had the pleasure of knowing Tom, you knew how deeply passionate and successful he was about his career. Tom held many titles in his career, he was an International Certified Addiction Counselor, an Interventionist Counselor, and a former owner of his own private practice called Another Way Counseling. With over 40 years of experience in his career, and over 300 interventions, Tom found fulfillment in his life from helping those who needed it most. Tom has helped numerous people overcome addiction to alcohol and drugs with his main focus of bringing families back together. He bettered the lives of those who needed it most. A true hero in the eyes of his clients and family.
He had a deep love for life's simple joys. He cherished trips to the shore with his family, where the surrounding of his loved ones brought him the deepest peace and happiness. An avid golfer, Tom spent countless hours on the green, sharing stories and most likely critiquing his son and grandson's golf swing. If he wasn't playing golf, he was watching golf. Tom was a true phillies fan, whether from the stands or his favorite chair at home. He especially loved creating memories by going to the ballpark with his kids and grandkids. At home, Tom was never without the company of his loyal fur baby, Winston, whose unconditional love was a constant source of joy and comfort. Tom enjoyed listening to music as a source of calm and comfort, particularly, Neil Diamond, the soundtrack of his life and a reflection of his upbeat spirit.
Tom will be remembered for his warm heart, unwavering loyalty, and the way he brought people together. He was a people person, a strong willed leo, who loved deeply and forgave easily. Tom was always there for those who needed him, anytime of the day or night. His love for his family and friends was boundless and his absence will be deeply felt by all who were fortunate enough to know him. In Tom's famous words spoken once by Winston Churchhill “Never, Never, Never give up.”
