Thomas Aloyssius "Tommy" Welding, Jr.

Thomas Aloyssius “Tommy” Welding, Jr., age 80, of Havertown, PA, passed away on July 10, 2023. Born in Philadelphia, PA he was the beloved son of the late Thomas A. and Anne J. Welding (nee Matson).

Tommy proudly served his country during the Vietnam Era in the United States Marine Corp. Tom was a big family man and loved nothing more than spending time with his daughter and grandkids.

Tommy was the loving father of Melanie McKenney (nee Welding) and father-in-law of Bob McKenney; adoring grandfather of Sarah, Kylie, Brady, Emily, and Molly McKenney; devoted brother of Rosemary Welding, Augustine Matson, Margaret Matson Ludwig, Regina Matson Newman, and Joanne Welding Brunelli; loving uncle to many nieces and nephews, especially Phillip Newman.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation 9:30-10:30 AM on Monday, July 17, 2023 at The Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA 19082, followed by his Funeral Service at 10:30 AM. Interment Private.
