Todd Michael Poirier
July 13, 1971 – June 11, 2022
Todd Michael Poirier, age 50, of Prospect Park, PA, passed away on June 11, 2022.
Born in Philadelphia, PA at the Navy Hospital, he was the son of the late Joseph C. Poirier, GMCS USN Retired and May L. (née Mawhinney) Poirier.
Todd served in the U.S. Navy for a few years and then throughout his life became a Certified CEFESA Technician in Refrigeration.
He was the GSR General Service Representative for the Chester/Prospect Group as well as the Vice President of the Chester/Prospect Club, where he helped people in recovery work on their steps. Todd had been sober for 2 years and 9 months, he was also a dedicated sponsor.
Todd became a Catholic a year-and-a- half ago and was a huge help with the work on the new kitchen in the church hall at St. Gabriel’s Church, where he grew even closer to Fr. Hand and many parishioners.
Todd was a man who knew how to do and fix just about anything and everything and was always willing to help others with any home improvements or problems. He also did wood working, which was a new and exciting hobby for him.
Todd was the beloved brother of Carol A. Clarcq (Cory), Sandra P. Mountney (Dave), and the late Roger L. Poirier. He was the dear uncle to his nephew, Kyle Mountney (USN GSM3), and his niece, Cassandra Mountney. He is also survived by his fiance, Regina Mack, and her children, Kathleen (Anthony), Joey, and Mikayla, as well as her grandchildren, Lorenzo, Isabella, and Giavonna. Todd was so happy to be in their lives.
Regina and Todd were to be married in just 2 weeks and their love for each other was like no other. Todd also became an incredible stepfather/mentor to Regina's children and they loved him as their own dad.
His faith in the Lord and his fiancé by his side gave him comfort and peace.
