Traci Lynn Sachs (nee Gariano), age 33, of Wilmington DE, formerly of Broomall PA passed away on Friday March 20, 2015.
Traci was a free thinker and an even freer spirit. She had a passion for writing and poetry and often dreamed about publishing her works. She was also an incredibly avid reader, collector of books, and a genuine music lover, who enjoyed collecting vinyl.
She was a "hostess with the mostest", who looked for any excuse to bring people together and get them to laugh. She had a collection of antique cookbooks and old Better Homes and Gardens magazines and liked to cook vegan, but couldn't resist a good cheesesteak.
Traci was an old soul and a true lover of history who liked autobiographies, documentaries, and walking old battlefields. She often felt misplaced in time, and would have made a fine flapper.
A full-blown fashionista, she had a particular love for designer handbags and beautiful dresses and dreamed of traveling the world, but never got the chance.
She was intensely passionate about all things, but particularly her friends and family.
She is survived by her husband Michael S. Sachs; her children, Alyssa and Ethan Sachs; and her siblings Lori (Brandon) Wilkerson, Stephanie (Rob) Slawter, Meg Work, and Trish (Zach) Anderson and her grandparents William and Christina Gariano. Predeceased by her mother Elaine (nee Hiberd) Gariano.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Viewing 7:00-9:00 p.m. Wednesday March 25, 2014 and 9:30-10:50 a.m. Thursday at The Donohue Funeral Home, 1627 West Chester Pike, West Chester, PA (610) 431-9000 and to her Funeral Service 11:00 a.m. Thursday at The Donohue Funeral Home, 1627 West Chester Pike, West Chester, PA (610) 431-9000.
