Victor Nadzar Cortese

July 14, 1937 — December 28, 2023

Victor Nadzar Cortese, age 86, passed away December 28, 2023. Beloved son to the late Victor and Rose (nee Pauline) Cortese.

Victor is survived by his dear sons David Cortese and Connor Cortese; Grandchildren, Rose, Christian, and Collin; And his brother Joseph Cortese.

Victor was born and raised in Pardeesville, PA. At 17 years old Victor enlisted in the Airforce. After 4 years of service he attended Penn State University. Upon graduation he worked in accounting for Peat Marwick Mitchell & Co before moving on to IBM for a 25 year career.

Victor's true passion was his friends and family. He was a caring father and loyal friend. He will be deeply missed by those who knew him well.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Friday, January 5^th 9:00 AM to 10:30 Am at The Donohue funeral Home, 366 West Lancaster Avenue, Wayne, PA. Funeral mass will be at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of The Assumption, 35 Old Eagle School Rd, Wayne, PA. A luncheon following mass will be held at the Italian American Club, 301 W Wayne Ave, Wayne PA. Interment will be 10:30 AM Monday, January 8^th at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Rd, Newtown, PA.
