Vincent Angelo Cresta, 83, of Ocean City, NJ passed away peacefully on Monday, August 11, 2014.
Vince raised his family in West Chester and was the loving husband for 50 years of Maureen McMahon Cresta; loving father of Jeanine Hurley and her husband, Brian, Lynnette and Danny Cresta; loving grandfather of Keenan and William Hurley.
Raised in Overbrook, he was the son of the late Vincent Cresta and Lena Uva. He is the brother of the late Angelo Cresta and is survived by his sisters, Adele Sgalippa and Vera Siravo.
Vince was a proud graduate of St. Tommy Moore High School and St. Joseph University with a degree in Business Administration. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran. He had a career in Accounting and Cost Control at Amtrak.
He enjoyed boating, fishing and loved vacationing with his family at the shore, where he moved at retirement. He was very dedicated to his family and bestowed many traditions that will live on.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation 9:00-10:30 AM Saturday at The Donohue Funeral Home, 1627 West Chester Pike, West Chester, PA, 610-431-9000 and to his Funeral Mass 11:00 AM at SS Simon & Jude Church, 8 Cavanaugh Ct, West Chester, PA.
