Vincent Davis

Vincent P. Davis, age 85, of Glenolden, PA, formerly of Southwest Philadelphia, passed away on November 28, 2014. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Jacob E. and Kathryn V. Davis (nee Dowd). He was a graduate of West Catholic Boys High School. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War. Vincent was employed as a Glazier with Franklin Glass in Philadelphia. He worked in the glass industry for 40 years. He retired in 1989.



Vincent is survived by his siblings Rita D. Shirley (the late George), Eugene Davis (the late Winnie), Margaret Dougherty (Thomas), and Sr. Rosemary Davis, IHM and his sisters-in-law Cathy Davis and Eileen Davis and many loving nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers, Francis (the late Peggy), Samuel and Joseph Davis.



Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Wednesday, December 3, 2014 9:30-11:00 AM St. George Church, 22 E. Cooke Avenue, Glenolden followed by his Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM. Interment SS Peter and Paul Cemetery.
