Vincent A. Hanna, age 94, of Havertown, PA, passed away peacefully on November 3, 2013. Born in Philadelphia, on Thanksgiving day, Vincent was the sixth of eight children born to the late Ann (nee Tunney) and Thomas Hanna. He lived in the family house on Virginia Avenue from 1941 to 2009. Vincent was a graduate of Central High, class of 1937, he studied accounting at the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania from 1937 to 1942. Vincent the served as a sergeant in the 2126th Army Air Forces Base Unit from October 30, 1943 to March 16, 1947. Vincent returned to school after his time in the military, graduating from Villanova University with a degree in Electrical Engineering in 1950. He worked at General Electric, Campbell's Soup and the United States Postal Service. Vincent was a Boy Scout and later served as Assistant Troop Leader of Manoa Troop 4, B.S.A. He was a lifetime member of Catholic War Veterans, Father John J. Hickey Post 731. He is survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Vincent was pre-deceased by his siblings Thomas Hanna, Alice Hanna, Francis Hanna, Ada Hanna, Mary Hanna, Rita Knox and Doris Costello
