Vincent J. "Vince" Massi, age 86, of Broomall, PA, formerly of Upper Darby, PA, passed away on March 30, 2019. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the caring son of the late Domenico Anthony and Mary (nee Corrado) Massi.
Vince was a retired Upper Darby Police Officer with 28 years of service. He enjoyed drawing, coin collecting and fishing.
Vince was predeceased by his loving wife Mary (Leone) Massi.
He was the devoted father of Vincent F. Massi (Kathy), Raymond A. Massi (Michelle), Frank J. Massi (Melody), and Leona M. Sawyer (John); devoted grandfather of Nicole, Vincent, Danielle, Raymond, Anthony, Mark, Dominic, Johnny, Frank, and Joey. He is also survived by his five great-grandchildren. Vince was predeceased by his brothers the late Joseph Massey and Louis Massi.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit the family on Wednesday, April 3, 2019 7:00 to 9:00 PM and Thursday, April 4, 2019 8:30-9:30 AM at 3300 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA 19073. Followed by his Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM at St. Pius X Church, 220 Lawrence Rd., Broomall, PA 19008. Interment SS Peter & Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.
