Vincent Anthony Reynolds, Jr., 79, of Philadelphia, PA, formerly of San Antonio TX, passed away April 12, 2019.
Born February 18, 1940 in Philadelphia, PA, he was a son of the late Vincent Anthony, Sr., and Elizabeth (nee Schmidt) Reynolds.
Vince was a 1958 graduate of West Catholic High School.
He attended St. Charles Borromeo Seminary and then the Maryknoll Seminaries in Chicago and Boston.
Vincent enlisted in the Air Force where he served honorably for over 20 years and retired as a Captain. He received a master's degree in psychology from St Mary's University in San Antonio, Texas. After graduation he was a substance abuse counselor at Lackland Air Force Base hospital.
Vince at one time owned a plane and enjoyed flying. He was also an aviation and railroad enthusiast. He took many slide photographs of trains and trolleys which he donated to the Pennsylvania Railroad Archives.
He was the loving brother of Michael Reynolds (Teresa), Christopher Reynolds (Patricia), and Betsy Jarrett (Michael); and dear uncle to numerous nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Graveside Service, 12:00 PM Thursday, April 25, 2019 at Holy Cross Cemetery, 626 Baily Rd, Yeadon, PA 19050. Please meet at the cemetery office.
