Virginia A. "Ginny" (nee Schmidt) Albrecht, 77, of West Chester, PA, formerly of Berwyn, PA, passed away on January 13, 2019.
Born in Bryn Mawr, PA, in 1941, she was the daughter of the late John J. and Mary (nee Powers) Schmidt. Ginny was a resident of Summit House for 40 years and served on the council for 25 years. She loved serving the community and she was an avid Eagles fan. Ginny enjoyed going to the beach, traveling, crocheting, gardening, sitting by the pool, and having a good coffee cup in her hand.
Ginny was the loving mother of Paul and Jay Albrecht; dear sister of Christina O'Hara (Thomas), Antonette Schmidt, RSM, John Schmidt (Debbie), Paul Schmidt (Lorraine), William Schmidt (Michelle), and Mary Cardano (Steve); also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit her family 10-11 AM Monday, January 21, 2019 at The Donohue Funeral Home, 1627 West Chester Pike, West Chester, PA 19382, 610-431-9000, followed by her Memorial Service at 11 AM. Interment private.
