Fogerty (nee Elins), Virginia M., age 94, of Lansdale, PA on July 22, 2016.
Beloved wife of the late Albert J. Fogerty and mother of Kevin T. Fogerty (Gloria), grandmother of Mark and Anne Fogerty, great-grandmother of Arianna Fogerty, sister-in-law of Beth Fogerty (the late James), aunt to Veronica Fogerty and Joanna Fogerty. Virginia was predeceased by her parents Harry and Florence Elins and her sister Eleanor Shultz.
Valedictorian of her class at Overbrook High School, she worked in her early years at the Naval Shipyard and then later held administrative and management positions with the United States Forestry Service until she retired. Virginia was a person of deep Catholic faith and conviction who treasured time with her family and close friends. She strongly believed in the importance of continuing education and maintaining a solid work ethic.
Relatives and friends are invited to Visitation Wednesday from 9:30-10:20 AM at Daylesford Abbey, 220 S. Valley Rd., Paoli, PA 19301 followed immediately by her Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM. Interment SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Virginia's memory to Daylesford Abbey at the address above would be appreciated.
