Virginia Graham

Virginia S. Graham of Downingtown, PA, previously of Kimberton, PA died on May 17, 2014. She was the daughter of Walter J. Scheib and Gladys Swinehart Scheib. She was born on March 16, 1924 in West Vincent Township, Chester County, PA. She is survived by a daughter, Virginia K. Graham, son-in-law, Anthony Lightcap and granddaughter, Victoria Lightcap, all of Downingtown, PA.



She was employed by a number of companies over the years including Kimberton Farms School, the West Company and Tyler Griffith Company. She had a secretarial services company, GG Associates of Kimberton in the 1960's and later in life had a gift shop in Chadds Ford, the Fox Horse and Hound. She was active in several historical societies and conservation groups and a member of Centennial Lutheran Church of Kimberton for over 60 years. She was a volunteer at the Visitors Center in Valley Forge Park for many years and enjoyed researching the Brownback family to whom she was related through her mother.



Her burial will be at Brownback United Church of Christ, Spring City, PA and will be private. At her request, there will be no viewing or funeral.
