Walter Borginis, Jr.

Walter W. Borginis, Jr., age 94, of Media, PA, passed away on November 5, 2013. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Walter Sr. and Olga Borginis (nee Trauffer). Mr. Borginis was a graduate of Central High School in Philadelphia. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was employed as a Machinist for Sunoco Refinery in Marcus Hook.



Walter is survived by his children Judith C. Snively (Richard), Walter W. Borginis, III (Joan) and Robert P. Borginis (Barbara) and his 8 grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife Carmela M. Borginis (nee Buonanno).



Relatives and friends are invited to visit the family Friday, November 8, 2013 9:30-10:00 AM St. Pius X Church, 220 Lawrence Road, Broomall, PA and to his Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM. Interment private.



In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory to VNA Hospice of Philadelphia, 3300 Henry Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19129 would be appreciated.
